Easy Coasters

These coasters are a great beginners pattern for those wishing to advance their skills.   You will get to practice a variety of crochet stitches to create this effective coaster.

Materials used are:
4.5mm hook
stitch marker
1 ball of dk yarn

This pattern is not hard to make: you will need to be familiar with the following technique

Ch – chain

dc – double crochet (sc single crochet)

tr – treble (dc double crochet)

hdc – half double crochet

sl st – slip stitch

Magic ring – this starting method gives a neat finish.
